Ingredients

  • 300g fettuccine or tagliatelle
  • 300g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 50g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving some cooking water.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add beef strips seasoned with salt and pepper; sauté until browned (3-4 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic; sauté until fragrant (1-2 minutes). Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Return the beef and drained pasta to the skillet; toss everything together until well coated. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
