- 3 cloves fresh garlic
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger

- 2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 bell pepper (any color)
- 1 sweet onion
- 2 green onions
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Instructions
- Prepare ingredients by chopping chicken into bite-sized pieces and mincing garlic and ginger.
- Marinate the chicken in a bowl with soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger, and cornstarch for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; sauté sliced onions and bell peppers until tender.
- Add marinated chicken to the skillet; cook until golden brown on all sides (about 5-7 minutes).
- Sprinkle freshly ground black pepper over the chicken and stir well.
- Pour in the remaining marinade; cook until bubbly and chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles, garnished with chopped green onions.
